Panterra Networks Review: Real Estate Appraiser

None, the service is terrible.

Cons:

Everything, did I mention that Panterra sucks.

Other Thoughts:

I am a licensed real estate appraiser. My clients would call me and say, "I've been trying to get in touch with you, is your phone still on?" or dropped calls, call quality problems, one way audio you were talking while the other side kept "Hello". GOD only knows how much money this terrible mistake of a company cost me the year that I had this service. Do yourself a favor and go find another provider, especially if you are thinking about it for your business. I actually would rate this company a Minus 12. Oh and that crap about you can be online and use web conference meeting? Sure if you don't mind a 10 minutes lag between when you do/say something and the person on the other end hears/sees it. Need to call technical support? HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA. No lie, one time I actually got hold of somebody, who was talking "Turkish" language. I cancelled service. This company is a scam and it's just a matter of time before they are out of business due to their awful service quality. By the way if any one has an idea about filing a class action suit let me know I'm on board.

Bunch of crooks. Service flakes out all the time and misses or drops calls. This can happen multiple times in a single day. When it flakes out you have to reboot phone sometimes a few times just to get it going again.

This company is very good at making things up. They write their own positive reviews, they lie, period.

Cons:

100% cruddy phone service, 100% bad customer support, 100% bad experience, the absolute worst thing on the net. None of their individual pieces ever worked properly, dropped calls, scratchy calls, echos, voice mail only worked a fraction of the time.

Other Thoughts:

Poke your eyes out with a hot poker from your fireplace before you order this service - it will be far more pleasant and less painful!. Stay away from this company at all costs!

It is an experiment they should be paying you and I to beta test. They have serious problems they have no idea how to fix.

It does not matter if you have every feature ever imagined if the service is horrible. I am switching TODAY!

No customer service. No returned phone calls. Charged for garbage. - echo, dropped calls, not working. Incoming callers told "phone disconnected" most of the time..

are.. can't call out half the time, rarely can get a call in, calls almost always routed to voicemail, poor sound quality, no dial tone, constantly having to reset the phone, the list goes on and on.

Stay away from this company at all costs!! I have had nothing but terrible quality telephone service since I signed up with this service. Just stay away.. and save yourself a lot of grief.

Pros:

Great uptime, outstanding support (actually U.S. based and 24x7) very innovative Service. Who else provides telephony, conferencing, collaboration, and IM? And it works. I literally use their services every day.

Cons:

Not much. Seem like a bunch of smart industry guys that know what they're doing and who actually listen to their customers. Maybe I'd like them to do more in the mobility space.

Other Thoughts:

I'm not sure who is writing the negative blogs, but they seem made-up to me. Maybe a competitor, but something is not right. I read one about 911 being not configred right, and not getting a customer service rep. That's wierd. I've talked with PanTerra and they use one of the nation's largest e911 carriers and you can get their customer support people anytime, and they are even in the Midwest (I thought that was good!). Wierd is all I can say.

Avoid like the plague. I am serious, I cannot receive calls half the time, the phone rings and you have to say hello 6 times before people can hear you. If I pick up the phone other times, there is dead air. I have been with this company for about a year, their service has steadily gotten worse over that time. Customer service is horrible, you cannot ask for a worse company. The 911 service does not configure properly, it tells no such address (funny we have been running business at this same address for decades)! This company should and probably will close their doors within a few months. Save yourself the headache and frustration, don't bother with this company.

Where do I begin... dropped calls by several users, conference calling is horrible, and support is low - expect to wait on response. Our own customers refuse to use our service and we have to call into their conference calls for communications.

This is the only company that I have ever worked with where I can get someone in support 24 hours a day. According to the support team they are in Iowa and Austin spoke English quite well contrary to the review I read below.

So far I can't and haven't had any yet.

Early on we had dropped calls but through the support system it turned out to be my router. I upgraded to one of their "supported" routers and dropped calls on my DSL line are now non-existent. It's too bad that more people don't write in with their positive experiences as well as their bad...

I have had Panterra since SunRocket ceased operation. I wish I had never heard of Panterra. What a joke that was. The service just plain SUCKS. Calls are dropped especially if you talk for extended period of time. Approximately 35% of the time I have the privilege of listening to myself (echo). Received voice quality sucks 80% of the time; it’s so garbled it’s impossible to understand the other party. Many times outbound calls don’t go through the first time so redialing is necessary.

Their customer service reps must either be illegal aliens or do not live in the US (hopefully). It is next to impossible to speak to anyone that can understand even the most rudimentary English; of course the folks they have soliciting your business and signing you up speak it quite well.

It turned out the same craps from SunRocket with whole bunch of idiots with no industry experience are running this company.

TERRIBLE reliability. Bad sound quality regular service interruptions and dropped calls.

I have been very disappointed with this company. Sound quality is usually poor with occasional one-way audio. Calls are often dropped, and ocasionally the phone calls ring incessantly without anyone or thing picking up. A total disaster ...and we do have plenty of bandwidth.

Pros:

Have had this service for (2) years and only experienced (1) short term down time this year. The 24/7 live support ( which I must have ) is probably the only company with this type of support ( most other companies support leaving voice mail only )

Cons:

Hopefully VOIP provider costs will continue to reduce over time as the technology continues to mature.

Don't understand the negative comments on this site since I have not experienced any of the issues stated regarding setup, quality, reliability and support.
