01/20/11Pros:
It's cheaper than the Business Grade VoIP providers.
Cons:
The call quality is so-so. Every afternoon my call quality goes to crap. The Customer Support rep says it is because kids come home from school and get on the internet -- I've put up with this for about six weeks but I'm done after today's experience
Other Thoughts:
I had a customer write a very rude letter to me today and his primary complaint with my service (I'm an insurance agent) is that whenever he calls into my agency he cannot understand a word we say. It turns out that we thought the call quality was pretty good because we could hear people, but they say we sound like we are underwater. I discussed this with my IT guy and he said it is just the way voip works. He told me to either get a Business Grade VoIP provider or go back to Qwest. I do not want to buy an expensive PBX and I really like the features that VoIP provides but this decision is causing me to look like an unprofessional business owner.
My IT guy recommends that we go with a voip solution from a local company called comvoice because they use private internet connections, but I checked out there website and it doesn't appear that they are different than Nextiva. If anyone has experience with these guys let me know.
I'm scared to spend anymore money on IP phones due to the horrible experience I've had. I'm thinking that voip just isn't ready for businesses yet...Magicjack is AWESOME at home though. :)

06/21/09Pros:
Customer service is exceptional.
Cons:
Nothing but a positive experience so far.
Other Thoughts:
Starting everything up and making our first call took about 15 minutes once we got some time to unbox the phones. The service gets 5 stars from me because of one experience I had....
In January I had to go on a business trip to Montreal for 4 days. My sales associate told me that the phone can be taken anywhere in the world and it'd work. So I gave it a shot and when I got to the hotel I plugged the phone into the open port and it worked!!! I was calling people from my hotel in Montreal but ppl thought I was at the office. I don't know of too many phone services that can do this. Using Nextiva has been a outstanding experience.

Cons:
The prices are reasonable, there are definitely cheaper services out there.

02/27/09Pros:
Had VoIP for about 6 months now and so far has been reliable. Had a couple of dealings with customer service and they were responsive to our minor issues. Overall a good experience so far and love the features.
Cons:
A bit expensive if you can afford it in the recession..
